Black Cherry Heaven Smoothie

I was really bored the other day so I decided to make a smoothie. Looked in my fruit bowl, there was nothing! So I raided the cupboard and found a few tins of fruit! This recipe would probably be nicer with fresh fruits, but hey, I made the best of a bad situation!

It is quite a simple recipe!

1 tin of Pitted Black Cherries in syrup
1 tin of Pear halves
1/2 tin of mandarin segments
1/2 a cup of ice

Because all of the tinned fruits are in there own juices you don't really need to add any other juice, but you can do if you wish.

Throw in all the ingredients finishing with the ice and whizz around till smooth. You will be amazed by the deep purple colour of this smoothie.

Kiss me, Hold me Smoothie

This is my mad smoothie. I live in the Caribbean and there are always fruits in season and we get alot of fruit from overseas. So here's my kiss me, Hold me smoothie. I call this kiss me, hold me because so far the couples in my life tend to like this alot more than the single people. Or i could just be imagining that.

1/2 cup ice- add more if you like that in your smoothie
1/4 cup of mango cubes
1/4 cup of tinned pineapple chunks, sweetened save the juice
3 tsp almond milk- you can buy or make your own
1/2 cup mixed mulberry, concord grapes & blackberries(you can substitute the berries for any others that may be in season or available)
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 apple chopped
5 tablespoons honey

Blend to your wanted consistency, adding in the juice from the tinned pineapple chunks.
In each of the glasses that you will be using splash some strawberry syrup along the side in a criss cross fashion up to the brim of the glass.
Pour smoothie into glasses. Put a stick of cinnamon in. and Down the hatch it goes
